Review

Our Score
Lindsay Wagner as a hooker? Actually, her fans can rest assured that she is only pretending, although how anybody could be taken in by her disguise is just one of the shaky premises of this made-for-TV fluff. Wagner is the devoted mother who begins to suspect that an ex-con is grooming her daughter (Renee Humphrey) for a career in the world's oldest profession. Piper Laurie delivers a typically grand performance as a judge, but director Peter Levin is overwhelmed by the too corny and overly melodramatic script.

Summary

A concerned mother's naive 16-year-old daughter gets involved with a deadly prostitution ring. After being told that the police are powerless to help, the devoted parent takes to the streets to save her child. Fact-based drama, starring Lindsay Wagner, Renee Humphrey, Piper Laurie and Chad Lowe.
