Our Score
Kurt Russell returns in this follow-up to The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969), this time using a revolutionary new invisibility serum to save his school from financial ruin. The Disney studio's trick is to cast squeaky-clean Russell against such old-time pros as Cesar Romero and Jim Backus, thus luring both teen and mature audiences to this undemanding mix of golf, bank robbery and car chases. Lightweight stuff, though Robert Butler's comedy boasts some ingenious special effects.
