Review

Our Score
A compendium of three tales of the not-entirely-unexpected variety, which is notable mainly for a typically larger-than-life performance from a visiting Orson Welles. He gets his teeth into the role of an aristocratic politician who undergoes a disturbing penance for a wrongdoing he perpetuated on a colleague. The other stories feature able performances from a reliable British cast (John Gregson, Elizabeth Sellars, Alan Badel).

Summary

Trilogy of offbeat whodunits. A mild-mannered museum tour guide becomes literally drawn into a painting, two men find their friendship is deeply affected by their love for the same woman, and a vengeful politician makes his rival's life a misery. Starring Orson Welles, John Gregson, Alan Badel and Elizabeth Sellars.
