Our Score
Is there no end to excrement jokes? Be warned, this is brimming with toilet humour and what remains is tasteless. David Spade is Joe Dirt, a trailer trash lost soul, whose cranium - split during childhood - is covered by the worst wig in cinema history. The film details Dirt's adventures since parental desertion at eight and explains his current conundrum - that he believes both a meteor and nuclear bomb have fallen from the sky into his possession. Neither, predictably, are what they seem. Unwatchable, bar a cameo from Christopher Walken.

Summary

A caretaker at a radio station is the butt of everyone's jokes because of his eccentric ways. But one day, a shock jock offers him the chance to tell his story on air, and his bizarre tale of a cross-country quest to find his long-lost parents makes him the talk of the town. Dismal comedy, starring David Spade, Dennis Miller and Kid Rock. Watch out for a cameo by Christopher Walken, who supplies one of the few laughs.
