Bill Bixby (who is probably best known as the star of TV's The Incredible Hulk) seems out of place here as an American computer expert who finds himself caught up in murderous events beyond his ken during a holiday in Britain. Following an encounter on a train with Helen Hayes's little old lady, Bixby travels to rural England to investigate a series of suspicious deaths in a village whose inhabitants include Lesley-Anne Down and Olivia de Havilland. There are no hidden depths in this clunky, updated version of Agatha Christie's mystery Easy to Kill, but if you can overlook the flaws it'll make for easy, undemanding entertainment.
Plot Summary
