Almost a last-gasp children's outing for Macaulay Culkin, who even here is entering that difficult period between childhood and adolescence. Based on a US comic strip, this features Culkin as a boy who has unlimited wealth but longs for a normal life. His wish is granted when he takes up with a ragbag gang of kids to foil nasty John Larroquette, who is trying to cheat Richie out of his fortune. All the usual clichés are present and correct, and children will lap up the juvenile slapstick, although it's not a patch on Home Alone.
Plot Summary

When his father's adviser, Van Dough, plans to take over the family firm and sabotages the plane carrying Richie's parents, the youngster calls on some new-found friends for help.
