Cameos from Gillian Anderson, Julianne Moore and John Cusack will draw most viewers to this overlooked "day-in-the-life" drama. But it'll be Paul Dillon's performance you'll remember. Reprising the role he played in Will Kern's acclaimed stage play, Hellcab, Dillon adroitly captures the range of emotions that a taxi driver experiences on the streets of an often soulless city, as he picks up such diverse passengers as zealous church-goers, a rape victim, smug businessmen, wasted party animals and a pregnant couple in a hurry. He's abetted by an assured sense of location from the husband-and-wife directing team of Mary Cybulski and John Tintori.
