Plot Summary
A vicious gossip columnist digs the dirt on an ageing film actress, who responds by taking on her most challenging role yet - as a real-life murderer. But when the actress kills her own assistant in error, she looks for a way to shift the blame. Crime drama, starring Peter Falk, Anne Baxter, Mel Ferrer, Kevin McCarthy and multi-Oscar-winning costume designer Edith Head in a guest appearance as herself.
