The Bollywood romantic comedy has never been more popular, thanks to the efforts of directors such as Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar. But Annie Hall and When Harry Met Sally... are the main influences on this globetrotting saga from Kunal Kohli, as cartoonist Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee spend a decade avoiding the obvious realisation that they're made for each other. The initial encounter in Amsterdam is probably the liveliest, as subsequently Kohli struggles to find convincing reasons for keeping the couple apart. The leads are well matched and the animated inserts are a nice touch, but the storyline has become a tad too familiar.

Cartoonist Karan meets headstrong student Rhea on a plane to New York - and the pair take an instant dislike to each other. However, their paths continue to cross over the years and gradually they begin to fall in love with each other. Charming romantic comedy, with the unusual approach of animated sequences inserted into the narrative, as Karan's encounters with Rhea inspire his newspaper strip. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji.
