Its "crime does pay" message may be dubious for a family film, but this fast-paced adventure is still wonderfully entertaining. A Mission: Impossible-style action romp based on the Danish hit movie Klatretosen, it's both imaginative and exciting. Panic Room's Kristen Stewart plays a young girl who teams up with two male friends - computer whizz Austin (High School Musical's Corbin Bleu) and mechanic Gus (Max Thieriot) - to carry out a hi-tech bank heist to get the cash to pay for a costly operation for her paralysed father. Though the plot's far-fetched, the film's well-executed, skilfully balancing intelligence, suspense and humour. The acting, too, is highly engaging, with the lead characters' strong sense of loyalty and love helping to rationalise the tale's somewhat immoral undercurrent.

A plucky teenager racks her brains to think of a way of financing an operation for her father who was injured in a mountaineering accident, and eventually comes up with a daring plan to rob a bank with the help of friends. Comedy adventure, starring Kristen Stewart, Corbin Bleu, Max Thieriot and Jennifer Beals.
