Review

Our Score
Richard Boone gives one of the craggiest of his many craggy performances in this western about a glowering gunslinger with a soft spot for the kindly nun (Leslie Caron) he's escorting through hostile Apache territory. Shot on location in Israel's Negev desert, there are shades of The Wild Bunch in the way the action unfolds; the occasional brutality is another thing it shares with Sam Peckinpah's film.

Summary

A gunslinger encounters a nun who is the sole survivor of a massacre, and rescues her from a trio of bandits - killing two of the crooks and taking the third prisoner. The three unlikely travelling companions must then make a perilous journey through hostile Apache territory. Western, starring Richard Boone, Leslie Caron and Paul Smith.
