A man staggers through a strip-club car park. His trousers are covered in blood because he’s been so badly beaten his scrotum has ruptured. Ouch. Then in the second of this double bill a paediatrician who’s been molesting his male patients is bludgeoned to death. In both cases the murderer is also a victim of sorts but then, as Assistant District Attorney Greylek argues, that hardly excuses their violent behaviour.
An old face pops up in each of the episodes, too: DA Miranda Pond (Alex Kingston, being reunited with ER cast mate Mariska Hargitay) and feisty ADA Alexandra Cabot (Stephanie March) who returns to the courtroom after spending several years in witness protection.
About this programme
14/22. Benson and Stabler investigate the case of a man who has been found badly beaten in a strip club's car park, and discover the victim has no recollection of what happened to him. Further inquiries reveal he is embroiled in a bitter separation with his partner - and suggest their teenage child, who wants to undergo gender realignment therapy, could hold the key to the case. Guest-starring Alex Kingston.
