About this programme
Tony Robinson heads to Leicestershire to examine archaeological discoveries at the site of the Battle of Bosworth Field, a confrontation that took place in 1485 and led to Henry Tudor taking the English Crown. Artefacts are unearthed that challenge the traditional interpretation of events, and Tony hears from experts who believe that not only were gunpowder weapons used in far greater numbers than previously thought, but also that the encounter was fought in a different place.
