Series 9 - 15. Seth and Apep

Review by:
David Butcher

Following on from a CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (AKA CSI: Vegas) episode, in which New York’s Mac (Gary Sinise) travels to Vegas only to find his date, Christine, had been kidnapped, now Las Vegas’s DB Russell (Ted Danson) is in New York to help Mac find whoever has kidnapped her. Oddly, considering the distance he has travelled, DB is largely decorative in a plot that is mostly about a tormented, grim-faced Mac going the extra mile (torturing suspects, Russian roulette and so on) to rescue his girlfriend from the swarthy bad guys. Still, it has a more thriller-ish pace than usual, as the team try to join the dots between an Egyptian tattoo, a dry cleaners and a severed human tongue in a box.

About this programme

15/17. DB Russell heads to New York to help Mac search for his kidnapped girlfriend Christine, and James Boyd arranges to meet up with the gang to drop off the diamonds and release the hostages. With the CSI team monitoring his every movement, Boyd starts to ask too many questions and the captors begin to suspect he has involved the police. Conclusion of the two-part crossover between the Las Vegas and New York CSI franchises, starring Gary Sinise and Ted Danson.
