All the entries in Rowfield’s Open Gardens Competition seem to be suffering from a blight that’s threatening their chances of winning first prize.
Is it some strange horticultural coincidence or something more sinister? Green-fingered sleuths Rosemary Boxer (Felicity Kendal) and Laura Thyme (Pam Ferris) soon find that it’s not only the flowers that are dying. The drama's as corpse-ridden as any Midsomer Murders episode, but with the bonus of extra shrubbery.
About this programme
8/8. Laura and Rosemary are called in to investigate when gardens entered for a village contest are attacked by a disease. Further sinister undercurrents are exposed when reigning champion Donald Westward is found dead and recriminations start to fly as buried rivalries come to the surface. Felicity Kendal and Pam Ferris star. Last in the series.
