Shaun made his first official appearance with Wallace and Gromit in A Close Shave in 1995, and has since starred in three series of the Aardman animation. Based on slapstick and silent comedy, each episode sees Shaun getting into scrapes on the farm. Today a furniture removal van creates a traffic jam in the lane, giving Bitzer the farm dog a tricky problem to solve.
