About this programme

One-off documentary investigating thieves targeting pub crowds in London's West End, revealing some of their tricks, from the `Lebanese Loop' to `Scattering', in which pickpockets disorientate drunken victims by weaving and bobbing around while talking to them. The programme also looks at the recent rise in cash machine scams and follows a specialist police unit on a stakeout aimed at catching an organised gang in the act.
