This is the final series, but creator Toby Whithouse has promised fans a proper finale: are the clues being scattered like crumbs in this powerful episode? If you ever watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you’ll know a vampire succumbing to love is dangerous: can the lingering looks between Hal and Alex possibly have a happy ending?
The pressure is certainly getting to our smouldering blood-sucker as he tries to rehabilitate Crumb. And Tom has someone new to look after: can he take care of man-mountain werewolf Bobby (the splendid Ricky Grover)? Not if the malignant Captain Hatch has anything to do with it.
About this programme
