About this programme

Documentary examining the corporation's attempts to make millions of publications available online through Google Books, only to be taken to court accused of breaching copyright. Referencing HG Wells's concept of the `World Brain' - a giant global library of human knowledge that would create a higher form of intelligence - the film considers the dreams, dilemmas and dangers of the internet.
