There’s a very racy scene in an ice cream parlour involving scary private investigator Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) and her unpleasant husband (Marc Warren). We saw last week that the pair enjoy an, ahem, challenging relationship and tonight we see that they are not afraid to perv in public.
Back in the staid legal offices of cash-strapped Lockhart Gardner, owlish financial hatchet-man Clarke Hayden (Nathan Lane) wants to make staff cuts. He’s already insisted the company gives up office space, which leads to a curious exchange between Alicia Florrick (Juliana Margulies) and office landlord Maddie Hayward (Maura Tierney). The Good Wife may be an upper-crust soap, but it’s as polished as a boardroom table.
About this programme
2/22. Will lets slip out of his hands the apparently easy case of a police officer accused of using an electroshock weapon on a man during a violent demonstration. Elsewhere, Alicia talks with Lockhart/Gardner's new landlady in a bid to renegotiate the leasing terms, and trustee Clarke Hayden begins making staff redundant. Legal drama, starring Julianna Margulies.
