4/9. Nicholas Crane sets out to decipher the symbols of the medieval Gough map to negotiate a route through some of the wildest Welsh landscapes of today. Setting out on foot, the explorer raises questions surrounding the identity of the cartographer and the depiction of mysterious red lines along the coast as he tries to find his way from Snowdon to St David's.
