A former soldier working as a sky-diving instructor is badly injured when a car knocks him off his Harley-Davidson motorbike and is in danger of losing a foot, while medics try to find out why 12-year-old Alexandra is vomiting 30 times a day. Also needing treatment are a West Sussex woman who has gashed her head badly in her hotel bedroom and a 66-year-old would-be matador from East Sussex who hurt his knee after falling off a bucking bronco at a stag party.
