Reanimating Australopitheci, one of the first apes to walk upright and considered by anthropologists to be among humankind's earliest forebears. This documentary follows the fortunes of a tribe as its members wander the Ethiopian plains in search of a new home. Along the way they encounter weird and wonderful beasts, the most terrible of which is a sabre-toothed cat with a taste for simian flesh.
