When a girl is ostracised because the villagers fear she has radiation sickness, busybody Mrs McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack) gets a ticking off from Father Brown (Mark Williams) for her un-Christian behaviour. The teenager goes missing and suspicion falls on the local doctor but, as always, Father Brown thinks Inspector Valentine (Hugo Speer) has the wrong man.
An impressive cast (today Pip Torrens, Don Gilet and Jamie Glover) combined with absorbing stories make this daily drama a classy addition to the daytime schedules.
