More fun and games from the conspiracy thriller with a serrated edge and paranoid undertow. “Where is Jessica Hyde?” was the question that ricocheted through last week’s opener and then, in the final shot, she turned up. She’s a masterful sort, and has a firm message for the trio of comic fans on the run from the sinister Network: “Your lives as you knew them are over,” she announces. “If you can adjust, you will live. If you can’t, you will die.” So they adjust.
Occasionally, the overarching plot about a sinister bio-research operation flags, but we can lose ourselves in the gorgeous visuals and menacing sense of place: whoever scouted the locations deserves an award.
