When a right-wing politician demands tough penalties for child criminals, Birgitte's odious spin-doctor Kasper flashes back to profoundly upsetting events in his childhood, and we learn quite a lot more about why he’s such a narcissistic commitment-phobe. The storytelling is clunky, but it’s still powerful stuff.
