About this programme
1/2. The first of a two-part documentary focusing on plastic surgeons at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London as they work to rectify the results of people's disastrous cosmetic procedures. Among those featured are a 39-year-old cleaner from Essex whose operation to make her breasts smaller left her with open wounds when her tissue started to rot, and a 37-year-old student from the Middle East who regretted having permanent filler injected into her face after a series of infections left her skin lumpy and distorted. Also receiving treatment is 40-year-old support worker Dawn from Co Durham, who had unsightly swelling after gastric-band surgery and a tummy tuck.
