About this programme
Copenhagen, Michael Frayn's play about the controversial 1941 meeting between physicists Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg. Bohr and his wife Margrethe live in Nazi-occupied Denmark, and their visitor, Heisenberg, is German. These two old friends are now on opposing sides, but between them have the ability to change the course of history. With Simon Russell Beale, Benedict Cumberbatch and Greta Scacchi. Adapted for radio and directed by Emma Harding.
