At the time of writing, the celebrities have yet to take their first nervous steps out on to the ice, so we’ll hold back from making predictions. However, we reckon Keith Chegwin, who broke several ribs while training for last year’s show, and Joe Pasquale have got to be contenders for the 2013 Todd Carty award for bad bladework.
The bookies favour the Olympians (Beth Tweddle and Luke Campbell) as well as Samia Ghadie and Shayne Ward, but don’t have much faith in Cheggers, former Labour MP Oona King or Anthea Turner.
About this programme
2/10. Following the elimination of Pamela Anderson last week, the contestants who did not perform in the opening show - Lauren Goodger, Luke Campbell, Anthea Turner, Joe Pasquale, Gareth Thomas and Oona King - take their chance to impress the public and the judges. Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley present the celebrity ice-dancing contest, with coaches Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean watching anxiously to see who will be skating to victory - and what the judges will have to say about their performances. The results are at 8.30pm.
