About this programme

Petroc Trelawny presents live coverage of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra's traditional event at the Golden Hall of Musikverein, featuring waltzes, polkas and marches by the Strauss family, conducted by Franz Welser-Most. There are also works by composers Verdi, Wagner, Lanner and Hellmesberger and a performance by the Vienna State Ballet in the grounds of the Palace Hof.
