About this programme

John Wilson and His Orchestra are joined by soloists to celebrate the golden age of Hollywood musicals, from the earliest days through to the 1960s. Including excerpts from 42nd Street, Top Hat, Strike Up the Band, Swing Time and Shall We Dance, plus a tribute to the RKO films of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
