From Danny Boyle’s magical Opening Ceremony through the performances from the world’s finest athletes to the final firework display, the 2012 Olympics held the world enthralled. But, of course, what we didn’t see was what was going on behind the scenes at the biggest sporting event Britain has held for decades.

In this documentary (sandwiched between a film reflecting on the best moments from the London Games and highlights of this year’s Sport Relief), members of the BBC Sport team — including Steve Cram and Hazel Irvine — share their memories of their time behind the cameras.

About this programme
