Christmas with Aled Jones

Christmas with Aled Jones

If you need a mood-enhancing fix, look no further than this classy concert of carols and festive music, recorded last Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall. Aled Jones is the big name (hosting, not singing) and he’s joined by soprano Laura Mitchell and boy treble Laurence Kilsby – chorister of the year in 2009 and a modern-day Aled.

Walking in the Air from The Snowman is on the bill, as are Hark! the Herald Angels Sing, In the Bleak Midwinter, The Night before Christmas and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Pie Jesu. David Hill conducts the London Concert Orchestra and the Bach Choir. Expect a few goosebumps.
