Clips of dodgy continuity errors, production crew sneaking into shot and big budget special effects bloopers feel like they would be more effective in bite-size chunks rather than the two-hour marathon we have here. That said, presenter Robert Webb does a good job playing the acceptable face of movie geekdom, wrapping together the box-office mistakes that make beady-eyed film fans nudge those next to them with a self-satisfied,
“Did you see that?”
Even cinema classic Citizen Kane falls victim to the Peep Show actor’s wry commentary, thanks to some misplaced prehistoric pterodactyls at a picnic.
About this programme
Robert Webb presents an irreverent rundown of some of the mistakes that have appeared in Hollywood films over the years, including cameramen caught in shot, special effects blunders, and continuity errors. The comedian pokes fun at the gaffes that were never meant to reach the cinema screens and yet did.
