Britain's Best Bakery

Series 1 - Episode 20

It’s final day, and after a week of hardcore challenges feeding race spectators, selling posh bread and trying to please the WI, the three remaining bakeries have one last challenge to face. They’re each asked to design and bake the ultimate wedding cake for an engaged couple, at Harewood House, near Leeds.

As judges Mich Turner and Peter Sidwell are well aware, the fiddly, precise demands of sugarwork are completely different to the physical challenge of making dozens of loaves of bread. The winning bakery will show skill at both. Having made cakes for the Queen, Mich knows a good bit of piping when she sees it.
