The post-apocalyptic thriller is the most popular show on cable TV across the pond, reeling in ten million viewers, and it now stars not one but two British actors: Andrew Lincoln as a sheriff turned zombie-hunter and David Morrissey as smooth-talking sociopath, the Governor.

Last episode, the latter received a gruesome blow that left me whimpering behind the sofa. Naturally, it didn’t make the Governor think twice about entrapping beefcake brothers Daryl and Merle. What happens next is closely under wraps but there are sure to be many shuffling, salivating undead and even scarier humans. Cushions at the ready.
