Hal and Tom reveal a somewhat messy taste for healthy competition in the workplace. Their rivalry is exploited by the noxious Captain Hatch – Phil Davis, who makes one speech sure to send shivers down your spine – who’s craftily twisting the knife. Stuck at home, Alex realises she’s not alone, but has her time to pass over come already? And Mr Rook takes advantage of the sorry Crumb to influence the Home Secretary (Toby Whithouse doing a Hitchcock). A dark episode with a neat touch of hysteria that outlines the coming threat to our heroes’ future.
