Coronation Street

Episode 8001

There’s now a definite worry that the reason Kirsty keeps her hair so long is to conceal the 666 indelibly inked onto her scalp. Tonight, the odious Omen of Weatherfield does some damage to a defenceless Fiz, but this being Corrie, we’re not talking anything so outré as decapitation by pane of glass or skewering by javelin. No, in this case, it’s maiming with a faulty sewing machine needle. Right through the finger, if you please.

And if Fiz was thinking of chalking up her injury as an accident, a sinister word from Kirsty at A&E leaves her in no doubt that there’ll be more to come if she doesn’t leave Tyrone alone.

About this programme

Hour-long episode. Kirsty takes revenge on Fiz after a defiant Tyrone heads to the children's party with Ruby. Eva is only too happy to provide Nick with a shoulder to cry on following Leanne's reaction to his marriage proposal, but have her efforts to break up the couple really paid off? Sophie leaves hospital and makes a point of reassuring Ryan everything is fine, while David mulls over an idea that leaves Kylie stunned. Elsewhere, Beth is unimpressed by her birthday gift from the factory workers.
