Don’t give up on Homeland just yet. Yes, series two has been up and down, but when it’s up, it remains a thing of wonder. Our CIA team got a shock at the end of the last episode, and frankly so did we. Reeling from that, Carrie and co are on the back foot, scrambling to regain the initiative. It puts Brody under pressure from both sides. “You’re going to have to play a larger role now,” terrorist contact Roya tells him. “Things are going to move very quickly.” But towards what?
Meanwhile, poor, anguished Dana longs to come clean about the hit-and-run accident she had while she was with boyfriend Finn. Which would be so much easier if he wasn’t the vice-president’s son.
