We’re back at Seattle Grace a few months on from last season’s plane crash, but everything has changed: Mark is on a ventilator, Meredith has a fear of flying and Derek’s hand injury is preventing him from doing what he does best. No, not styling his hair each morning.

We’re talking surgery, of course. And if McDreamy can’t pick up a chest clamp without it falling through his fingers, then what certainties are there in this mixed-up, crazy world?
