Attention turns to the expat community in France, in particular the western region of Charente, where four proud homeowners compete for the 1,000 euro prize. Yorkshire-born Carole Davies and estate agent Jo Leggett respectively show off their new-build and antiques-filled restoration properties, Essex girl Elly Budgen-Jones exhibits her barn conversion and Londoner Amanda Rudd gives a tour of her traditional farmhouse - complete with private golf course.
