About this programme
20/24. Mulder and Scully investigate the disappearance of some loggers in a forest, and find one of the missing men encased in a giant cocoon. They discover the felling of an ancient tree has unleashed a voracious swarm of prehistoric insects. The bugs can only attack in pitch darkness, but as the agents take cover in a cabin, they find they have little fuel to keep the lights running.
