This is the final instalment in Lynda Bellingham’s culinary UK tour — she must be exhausted — and although many stops have shown the traditional side of our food, she’s in Bristol to take part in something relatively new:
a supper club. A hotbed of great produce and cooking with an irrepressibly alternative side, Bristol is a natural home for these casual, impromptu feasts.
Lynda is invited to join in on the condition that she cooks some dishes using eggs from back-garden hens; will a vegetable frittata and rosewater meringues impress the club’s guests?
