The story of Osel Hita Torres who, at two-years-old, was believed to be the living reincarnation of a Buddhist lama, and taken from his home in Spain to live in a monastery in southern India, where he was expected to fulfil his destiny. However, at 24-years-old, he decided to abandon the faith and join a film school in Madrid, causing a sensation and leaving his followers desperate for him to come back and lead them.
