Strictly Come Dancing

Series 10 - Episode 19

“When we get down to the last six, the public will be really scratching their heads saying, ‘Who is the best?’ That’s when the personalities come through,” Bruce Forsyth said recently. Well, we’re down to the final six celebrities and, assuming the Strictly audience have voted more sensibly than their X Factor counterparts, they should all be cracking performers able to fleckerl like a professional.

In sheer dancing ability it’s impossible to choose between Louis Smith, Denise Van Outen and Kimberley Walsh, all of whom have occupied the top of the leaderboard and who, I’m going out on a neatly extended limb here, should still be in contention. But, of course, there’s often a dark horse (or a dark pony, as Vincent Simone described Dani Harmer)
who could trip them up.

On the results show Michael Bublé makes the first of two TV appearances tomorrow; he’s also on Rod Stewart’s Christmas on ITV1.

About this programme

19/24. Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly present as the final six celebrities mix it up a little by fusing two styles into one in a bid to make it through to next week's semi-final. Dani, Lisa, Denise, Louis, Nicky and Kimberley will all be hoping to avoid the fate of last week's loser Michael Vaughan. But with all the remaining contestants having proved they have what it takes, it will be a tough one to call. Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell give their opinions and scores as usual, but the voting viewers help determine who will be saved from the bottom two. The results are tomorrow at 7pm.
