20/24. The last two semi-finalists work a shift at Michelin-starred pub the Hand & Flowers in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, before the pair recreate chef patron Tom Kerridge's signature dish of duck breast, duck fat chips and gravy. They then face a third test in which they must use what they have learned from their experience to cook a main course and a dessert for Michel Roux Jr and Gregg Wallace, with only one contestant progressing to the final round.
