An epidemic of love and lust breaks out in Letherbridge. Karen (Jan Pearson) is being courted by old lover David (Terence Hillyer) who, despite being married to Tracy (Andrée Bernard), maintains Karen’s “the one that got away”. Curiously, Tracy doesn’t seem to mind when David gets a bit carried away with his flirting.
Meanwhile, it’s an emotional last day at the Mill for Valerie (Sarah Moyle). She’s lonely yet rebuffs the romantic overtures of nerdy patient Ashley (Jim North). And an innocent enquiry from Al (Ian Midlane), asking a limping Jimmi (Adrian Lewis Morgan) why he runs so much, results in the pair striking up an unlikely friendship.
