Most children pester their parents to be allowed a pet without thinking twice about what it involves. In this series, which started on Monday, nine kids work and play alongside a menagerie of creatures including a corn snake, a hamster and a bearded dragon, in the hope they’ll convince their mums and dads they’ve got what it takes to have their own pet.
