4/6. The remaining amateur dramatic societies are challenged to put on a performance of King Lear at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. With a place in the final up for grabs, the theatre groups have five weeks to rehearse the scenes necessary and come up with innovative ways to impress judges Miriam Margolyes, Bill Kenwright and Quentin Letts.
