Emmerdale’s Roxanne Pallett and Corrie’s Vicky Binns are the latest in a long line of soap actors guest-starring in this innovative police drama. Watch out tomorrow for Bobby Davro and Dean Gaffney – both of whom have been in EastEnders – in a story about a wheel clamper who’s mown down by an irate driver.

In this episode DS Shaw (Ben Hull) and DI Preston (Jane Antrobus) are called to a break-in at the home of Linda Brooks – the second burglary there in two weeks – and are pleased when she identifies the perpetrator. However, it soon becomes clear that there’s a criminal link between him and Linda’s boyfriend.
